HOW TO OVERCOME THE GRIEF
DUE TO DENIED MERCHANT ACCOUNT
APPLICATION
Every day many
applications for merchant accounts are
rejected and many people experience
grief due to this reason. The reason for
the rejection of their application may
be one or more of the several reasons
that cause the denial of merchant
account to a business. But all is not
over. The “Offshore Merchant Account”
will put an end to the grief and misery
that you are facing due to the denial of
the merchant account.
Getting denied by many
providers is difficult on you, more so
because you have worked hard to get
those applications right. Also, you will
be unhappy because your business does
not have a merchant account and
therefore cannot accept credit card
payments from customers which take you
several steps backward in the
competitive world of business. But it is
very unfortunate that you did not get
the approval for the merchant account.
But all this can end if you apply for
the “Offshore Merchant Account”.
The 5 stages of grief
according to the Kubler–Ross model faced
by merchants who are rejected:
-
Denial – It cannot be happening
After all the hard work you put into it
like submitting all the required
documents, wearing the best suit that
you have and even getting a new haircut
and waiting for 6 weeks or more, you get
rejected. You get frustrated and start
thinking, why did I get rejected; I did
everything in the right way?
Yes, everything you did was right but
unfortunately, it was not in the correct
place.
Then, you ask yourself, why was it only
me? You try to put the blame on somebody
else, even God. However, some of the
reasons why your application was
rejected are:
Not enough documentation
Complaint against your business at the
BBB
Poor record
Misrepresentation of certain information
-
Bargaining – Let me try out for one
month
This is an emotion, which is very
natural, after a denial. You try to
fight more instead of relaxing your self
and figuring out why it happened.
-
Depression – I am a loser
This is the danger point, where many
people like to be alone and don’t want
to meet or talk to any other people. It
may extend to a point where you will not
have the enthusiasm to run the business.
Remember this, you opened your business
because you like to do it and just
because you did not get a merchant
account you don’t have to fail in
business as well.
-
Acceptance – Everything will be fine
This is where you realise that life is
not an easy game and you will have to
fight for it. You finally decide that
this is not the end and there are many
ways to get things done.
Blessing in Disguise
When you have overcome
your grief, it is time to get your
wounds healed. Go out and find an agent
or a broker and get the “Offshore
Merchant Account” for your business.
