THE WORKING OF THIRD PARTY HIGH RISK MERCHANT ACCOUNT

To avail a merchant account various fees are charged. These fees include the registration fees and the setup fees along with application fees. The third party merchant account holders are provided with a different type of merchant account. No fees are charges while opening a third part merchant account. Basically, small scale businesses have third part merchant account. These businesses are mostly intermediary businesses.

For example, country A produces a product. The product is exported to another country B for sales. Country B re-exports the product to country C. In this cycle, country B acts as an intermediary. The merchant account is needed to carry out the international business. Likewise, in the example given above, country C orders a product and country B processes the request to country A. Sometimes, country B may carry on the requested orders.

Once the customer places order for some products, it is easily granted after certain formalities. These formalities include filling up of the online form that contains the credit card number, the security PIN four digit code, date of expiry, etc. After the formalities are done, the credit card numbers along with the other details are sent for verification. Once it is verified, the transaction is processes and the customer is prompted with an electronically transmitted message. The third party companies charges certain amount of fees on every sale and processing of the credit card. If there are no sales then no fees is charged. While applying for third party merchant account, a customer has to choose among various third party merchant account providers.

As in the other merchant account business, transaction fee is also charged. The transaction fees ranges from 5 % to 30 percent. These fees are also inclusive of the processing fees. The difference in the transaction fees purely depends upon the volume of sales and the number of credit card processing within a certain period of time. The payment against such fees is made every two weeks or on a monthly basis. There are no chargebacks for the third party merchant account holders. The third party merchant account providers also have a technical customer support. This helps the customers in solving various problems that may arise during the time of transaction.
